Distance Creates Allure

We know that there is a human tendency to put people on a pedestal that we cannot reach.  The celebrity or billionaire who we know we have no chance with.  The elusive deal or the exclusive club.  That person who doesn’t give me the time of day that must be so wise and resourceful that they don’t need ME.

Most of these people are as fallible as you are.  They may not be any more wise than people you already know and that give you access.

How much information and access is out there in your current network that you can tap into immediately?   The grass is always greener, but you’re probably underestimating the people you already know.
