In almost every endeavor, getting the wheels in motion is the most difficult piece. It’s why founders of companies typically get the biggest rewards. Fewer people are willing to get the initial progress forward.
In many cases the initial push isn’t a revolutionary step. It’s just small progress. It’s a phone call. An email. A blog post. Getting started doesn’t need to be a big step. In fact usually it’s a really small step whether that’s putting on your sports shoes for a run or picking up the phone to call a potential customer.
While preparation is important, it’s also overrated. It’s overrated because too many people use it as an excuse to avoid Go.
Remember. Just go. That’s the hardest part.
