  1. Mass communication is the only way for a brand to succeed. A brand that circulates at a low velocity dies very quickly. I agree social media is the way to go but would add that not all social media is equal.

  2. Your social media strategy should vary. Dan Schawbel does a great job with a blog, personal website, magazine, video, and social networking sites. If you vary it up, you will ultimately be successful as different people use different applications.
